Come experience this family owned and operated vineyard and winery on the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail. Located just east of Paso Robles in San Miguel, this beautiful 80 acre property provides a warm welcome, great wines, and relaxing scenery. There are 60 planted acres of grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah, and Petite Sirah, which are used to produce our wines. This vineyard offers delicious estate wines, vacation rentals, and a gorgeous grassy knoll for your events or perhaps a simple picnic lunch. Let Riverstar play host to you, your family, and friends where you can come for the wine, enjoy the company, and stay for the sunset views.

Our tasting room is conveniently located at the crossroads of Estrella and Airport Roads in San Miguel, CA. A Central Coast resident or out of town visitor, we extend an invitation for you to join us in our beautiful tasting room for a pouring of our wines. We invite small and large groups alike to the spacious and inviting grounds. Bring a lunch and enjoy it out on our patio, complete with a picturesque view of our 80-acre vineyard property- we will be glad to pour your purchased glass of wine or open your favorite bottle of Riverstar wine that perfectly complements your food; just leave it to our friendly and knowledgeable staff! We love meeting new people and guarantee that you will leave with a smile on your face.

We now offer cheese and wine pairings! You’ll be delighted to taste six gourmet cheeses that are expertly paired with our wines. $10, with $5 credited toward wine purchase. Any day is a good day for a little wine and cheese!

Since 2001, Riverstar Vineyards has been a fixture at the beginning of San Miguel’s Pleasant Valley Wine Trail. In 1993, Riverstar Vineyards was planted with three varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, all planted on their own root in the loamy sand and gravel soils along the southern facing slopes of the Estrella River. In addition to the original varietals planted, we grow Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel, both planted on their own root, as well as Petite Sirah that was grafted onto some of the Syrah in 2014. Family owned and operated, the tradition continues as the second family takes ownership in 2016. Riverstar is careful to carry on the tradition of great red, white, and blended varietal wines that are big, bold, and beautifully crafted from the Central Coast’s incredible fruit. The vines planted on site have been producing delicious fruit for over 3o years. We are working with winemaker Steve Martell to focus on growing the best fruit possible and making the wine in a way which respects the fruit and creates rich, full bodied reds and crisp, clean whites.
