With over ​2​5 years of restaurant ​​experience ​among our team, it seem​s​ only fitting t​hat​ Les Marchands ​has received numerous accolades since opening in 2013 (LA Times, Departures, Wine Enthusiast, Imbibe, Thrillist). It is our belief that when quality meets execution the simplest dishes aspire to greatness. Share some mainstays from our cheese and charcuterie program, such as Le Pommier Camembert and Jamon Serrano. Enjoy regional offerings with pickled cornichons, country inspired lentil salad, and our pork rillettes.

Why it's hot: Tucked into the same complex as Lucky Penny and The Lark, this wine bar and retail shop is a place where you can easily while away the afternoon. Managing partners Eric Railsback and sommelier Brian McClintic, who was featured in the recent movie Somm during his pursuit of the master sommelier certification, have created an eclectic, fun and exciting wine list that spans the globe. Sit at the bar or around tables on the patio for glasses, bottles and snacks.

Must-order: Let the staff pick something fun and exciting for you to drink, like locally made Tatomer Gruner Vetliner, Storm Sauvignon Blanc or Carlson Trois Fleurs. For snacks, the brined and smoked mussels with fresh bread, cheeses with nuts and dried fruit or salt and vinegar chips with crème fraîche are just about perfect.

 Anything you order from the menu is available for purchase in the wine shop (as long as it’s in stock). And when the rest of the tasting rooms in the neighborhood close (usually around 6 PM), this one stays open.
